| North: Route 46 | East: New Bark Town | West: Cherrygrove City |
General Information
Route 29 is the first route players will encounter if they decided to start in Johto. It serves as a passageway between New Bark Town (located east), Cherrygrove City (located west), and Route 46 (located north).
There is not much to note about this route. As it is a beginner's route, the wild Pokémon are low leveled and common. The trainers, much like the Pokémon, are low leveled in order to help new players level up their starters.

Points of Interest
The Manager NPC inside PokéMart have a quest for you, to recover stolen merchandise (dropped by wild Sentret at Route 29) from the store. For every 3 he will reward you a Pokéball.
Whenever special events are occurring, the Event Transport NPC will take you to the event map. Once the event is finished, NPC will no longer transport you there until next event is going on.
