After completing Starter Island, you will be sent over to one of two labs, depending on the region you pick.

Kanto

If you decide to start your adventure in Kanto, you will be sent to Professor Oak's lab. In Professor Oak's lab, you will be able to choose from one of the three starters, which are:

Bulbasaur, the grass-type Pokemon.

Charmander, the fire-type Pokemon.

Squirtle, the water-type Pokemon.

Johto

If you decide to start your adventure in Johto, you will be sent to Professor Elm's lab. In Professor Elm's lab, you will be able to choose from one of the three starters, which are:

Chikorita, the grass-type Pokemon.

Cyndaquil, the fire-type Pokemon.

Totodile, the water-type Pokemon.
