After completing Starters Island, you will be sent over to one of two labs depending on the region you pick.

Kanto

If you decide to start your adventure in Kanto, you will be sent to Professor Oak's Lab. Here you will be able to choose from three starters. The three starters available are Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.

Johto

If you decide to start your adventure in Johto, you will be sent to Professor Elm's Lab. Here you will be able to choose from three starters. The three starters available are Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile.
