Pokémon were introduced in groups, which have been classified as generations. In Pokémon World Online, at least one Pokémon within each of the first four generations have been introduced into the game to all players at one point (the game currently has sprites and support for almost all Pokémon within the first four generations). The categories listed on this page hold the Pokémon information for Pokémon within each respective generation.
- Generation I: #001 - #151.
- Generation II: #152 - #251.
- Generation III: #252 - #386.
- Generation IV: #387 - #493.
