		+	The Legendary Cup was a tournament event announced on the 5th of November, 2011. The cup was held in two phases consisting of a round robin tournament, with the winners advancing to a single-elimination tournament. The tournament concluded on the 31st of December, 2011 with the first place winner claiming [[Mew]] as the prize.

If you're in the second camp, congratulations! Your game is just about to get a whole lot interesting.

		+	The PWO Staff are soon to launch PWO's second official regular in-game event. Once again, the Players and Staff butt heads; but this time, there's a lot more on the line than just points. This time, the Pokémon get a slice of the action; as we test the battle skills of the PWO Community against other players AND Staff, in an event we're dubbing:

		+	The Legendary Cup is a multi-stage Pokémon Battle Tournament that puts everyone's abilities to the test. Players who sign up to the Tournament will be randomly assigned into Heats; each Heat will contain an even amount of Players PLUS one Staff Member who has pre-signed for the Tournament. The members of each heat battle each other in a round-robin style tournament - in other words, you will battle every other member of your Heat once. Once all battles have been completed, the member of each Heat that achieves the most wins will advance to the second stage of the tournament - in the event of a tie, tie-break battles will be conducted until a winner is a decided.

		+	In the second stage, the Heat Winners will face off in a single-elimination tournament. Losing is no longer an option - now it's time to go big or go home. Whoever wins the final battle, wins not only the glory of proving themselves to be one of PWO's best battlers, but also an extremely coveted prize. What's that, you may ask?
